Mr. Surapon Asawasetkowit    Progressive Inter Products Co.,Ltd. was established by Mr. Surapon Asawasetkowit, a local artisan who has a particular love for designing and carving wooden horse in original styles. His first piece took 8 months to design and carve. From there he developed his designs so that they have now become sought after pieces in markets both in Thailand and abroad. Each piece has its own unique characteristics and carries with it a copyright certificate to prevent unauthorized copying.

   Progressive Inter Products Co.,Ltd. which is currently operated by Mr. Surapon Asawasetkowit ,is located at 222 Mu 7 Nong Kaew Sub-district, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai with a retail centre on Hang Dong Road at the entrance to Thawai Village. This area is renowned both locally and internationally for its exquisite arts and crafts. The company's workshop can be found one kilometer away on the same road and can be recognized by a sign about 500 metres from the entrance. A visit provides an opportunity to see a wide range of samples and look at the different stages of production.

   The find craftmanship and high quality of Progressive Inter Products Co.,Ltd. products resulted in the company being awarded the Chiang Mai OTOP Product Champion 2003 First Grade or 5 star award in the One Tambon One Product competition at the district, Provincial and regional levels. This award guarantees the quality of their products. The award was presented on the 22^nd October 2003 at the Phu Kham Hotel in Chiang Mai by Mr. Suwat Tantiphat, the Governor of Chiang Mai.
